Digital Transformation in industries is a phenomenon driven by customer orientation; mobility guidance, and data guidance (Akatkin, Konyavskiy, & Yasinovskaya, 2017). These directions are like the vectors used by the OECD to qualify digital transformation with platforms considering the speed and mobility provided by its technological scope (OECD, 2019). Therefore, the perspective of the platform ecosystem places emphasis on the composition and configuration of technological components. Driven by Industry 4.0, this strategist architecture, allowed the digital economy in the face of enabling technologies, among which factors of mediation of transactions between groups of actors are highlighted (Helfat & Raubitschek, 2018). The present work is an integrative review of theories of resources, knowledge, and capacities with a look at 188 articles concerning their implication in the use of platforms and ecosystems integration. The theoretical contribution suggests not only the discussion of digital transformation, but also expresses indications of future works and paths of this emerging theoretical.
