Abstract

This research aims to encourage the strengthening of the identity of the Federal Institutes with applied research, based on the interaction of the triple helix actors. Based on the descriptive case study method under a qualitative approach, this research aimed to analyze the case of cooperation of Campus Pinheiral with the company Rica Alimentos. The results indicate that the experience in analysis has development potential and that the Legal Framework of Innovation plays an important role in this context. Thus, this analysis is expected to aid administrative decisions and encourage the promotion of socio-economic development through applied research. The originality lies in the analysis of unique configurations of a specific case study that brings contributions to the network of Federal Institutes.
